Announcements:
1) On September 27th artist Jeff Smith will be on campus speaking about his work during the CCAD Mix. Many other great artists will be attending as well and speaking about their work, however to see them you must purchase a ticket for the Mix. More details on the Mix can be found here.
2) For the upcoming family fair, themed on Monty Python, we will be creating some paper mache creations to launch out of a trebuchet. If you would like to help with making some of the paper mache creations feel free to contact our email. We will also give updates on when we'll be working on them.
This week in the collective we had our Intro to the Industry meeting and went over specific jobs in the animation pipeline! We covered the 2D and 3D pipelines a bit as well as Stop Motion. After covering the pipeline we had some fellow students speak about their current internships and experiences. Our guest speakers were Mandy Cline, Jamie Yuhasz, Will Oglesby, Erlson Neba, Kevin Harkness, and our president Sarah Schmidt. It was great to see the different jobs they all have and hear about their experiences thus far in the industry.
